Skill-a-thon

We have written stories about the Skill-a-thon we did on Thursday.

Skillathon  By Tom

Today we did our Skillathon.  I did running with Joanna.  All Middle School did it.  It was at Clive School.  My score of laps was 18!!  I saw other people running.  I hear people huffing and puffing.  I smell my sweat.  I feel the soft turf.  I taste happiness.  I think of me being the best runner in the World.  I run as fast as I can.  I feel proud.  I say I did GREAT!!!

Today me and all the Middle School did a Skillathon.  We did the Skillathon to improve our skills.  Me and my buddy were on the field.  I got forty-two goals.  I did soccer.  He other sports to do were rugby, passing, and basketball. I got four cones to set up the field.  I wrote how many I got on my hand.

At Clive School we had a Skillathon.  Me and Aqi, my partner, did hoops.  I got 59 hoops.  I heard people counting their partners hoops.  Thursday was the Middle School turn.

Today I did a Skillathon.  My skill was kicking.  My score was 73.  My partner was Seth and it was at Clive School.  Seth scored was 50.  We had 10 minutes each.  It was my second time playing soccer.

Today we were doing our Skillathon.  There were hoops.  There were running.  There was catching.  There was kicking.  My score was 14.  I was doing running.

Today we did the Skillathon .  The Middle School did running, soccer, hoops, rugby and passing.  It was fun.  There were so much people.  .  We were with partners.  Some tried so hard.  There were numbers that were high and numbers that were low.

Today at Clive School the Middle School did a Skillathon.  Me and my partner, we did kicking over the rugby post.  I see the green hedge.  I feel good and I feel the grip of the rugby ball.  I love Skillathon.  It’s my best thing ever.  My lucky score was 40 and that was from long range.

On Thursday My partner Michael and I kicked and counted our points.  I got 48 and Michael got 20.  It was at School.  I felt the soft smooth wind blowing through my hair.  The soft grass brushed on my feet.  After it all Ms Petherick told everyone to make a story about the Skillathon.  IT WAS FUN!!

On Thursday it was the Skillathon.  I chose to do the hoops because I like doing miniball.  My buddy was Stella.  I got thirty five.  Stella got fifty three.  We only have 10 minutes then we had to swop over.  We did the Skillathon at School.  The kids did hoops, passing, kicking and running.

Today is Thursday and it is the day Middle School and me are doing the Skillathon at School.  Some people are doing running, some are catching, some are doing hoops and some are doing goals.  I did hoops with my buddy.  Dakota got 7 and I got 30.  It was hard.

Today was our Skillathon for the Middle School.  I did the hoops and I got seven hoops.  We all had buddys.  My buddy was Charlize.  She got 30 hoops.

Thursday was Skillathon day.  I did the rugby post.  My buddy was Max T.  I was at School.  I got 35.

Today after morning tea the Middle Schoolers did a Skillathon at Clive School.  I took part in kicking a ball into a goal.  We had to buddy up.  I smell pollen.  I got 27 goals.  I felt sweat on my head.  There were other sports to take part in.  My buddy was Nic.

On Thursday we did our Skillathon.  It was all the Middle School.  I did hoops.  My partner was chance.  I got six goals.  I heard the sound of people working very hard.  We did it here, at Clive School.  The teacher that was helping us was Mrs Wilburn.  I felt the hard bouncy netball.  I feel proud.  I smell the breeze.  I hear people proud of them self.  I think I did very well.

On Thursday I went to the hall to throw some balls into the hoop.  I got fifty three in the hoop.  My partner, Lily, had to count how many goals in ten minutes.  The whole of Middle School go to choose a skill.  I saw that lots of children were trying their hardest.  I thought that ten minutes was so much shorter.  Lily, my buddy, got thirty five.  Mrs Wilburn was looking after the hoop goals.  Ms Petherick was looking after the passing and catching people.  I say the skill-a-thon is fun!

On Thursday at Clive School after Morning Tea the Middle School had a Skillathon.  I did kicking into a goal.  My score was forty eight.  My partners score was thirty.  The highest score I know is 73.

Today Room 4 did their skill-a-thon.  I did shooting into a hoop.  I got 60 goals.  My buddy was Jacob.  It was fun.  Jacob got 59 goals.  You got to choose out of kicking, passing, running and throwing in a hoop.

I got 17 goals in the hoop and my partner got 6 goals in the hoop.  Her name was Audrey-Anna.  Mrs Wilburn was timing as people from the other class.

Today Room 4 did their skill-a-thon.  My partner was Liam.  I did soccer (kicking).  I got 28 goals.  It was really fun!  My favourite part was making sure the ball didn’t go too far.  I saw balls flying into the goals.  I hear people talking.  I smell the newness of the grass.  I feel the squishy ball when I pass the ball to Liam.  I was on the field.  We did the Skillathon just after play.

Today the Middle School did the Skillathon.  The Skillathon was fun.  My buddy was Casey.  He was very good.  I got 37 goals.  He got 47 goals.  Casey got ten more goals than me.  I tried my best.

I had fun at the Skillathon.  I scored 8.  It wasn’t that much.  I did running. I had the stitch.

I see a group of children gathering on the court, on Thursday, only the Middle School.  We did the Skillathon at school.  Some kids did passing, kicking, running and throwing into hoops.  I could taste honesty when counting.

On Tuesday it was the Skillathon for us in the Middle School.  I really liked it.  I did catching and passing. My buddy was Coral.  I thought she did really good catching and passing.  I liked how everyone tried hard.  I did 210 passing an catching.  My buddy did 250.
